Do you want a self-contained aeroponic garden in your kitchen? Of course you do

I've always been interested in having a little plot of wheatgrass in my kitchen. You can cut a little very day, juice it up, and take a shot of health.

Growing things has never been my strong suit though, which is why the AeroGarden caught my eye. It's basically a self contained garden: you add water, the little seed-pods, and plug it in. Gizmodo even has a video of putting one together. Apparently you need to throw a lot of water around. The results are supposed to be much faster and more efficient than growing in dirt, and you get to use big words like aeroponic and tell guests your herb garden is NASA approved. I want to buy everything that's NASA approved. First pens that write upside down and now this! I love technology.

Seriously though this looks like a neat little addition to the kitchen. While they're just available for preorder, I'm thinking of picking one up. It's like a living salad. I'm thinking it won't be long until we see this subverted to other purposes though. Nefarious ones, if you get what I mean.
