January Meeting

The forecast for  the Kalamazoo area for Friday is 6 to 12 inches of snow with blizzard conditions.Therefore I have decided on safety grounds to cancel the meeting scheduled for Friday Jan.13.We know the program is popular so Becky is trying to re-schedule the Speaker Mary Ann Menck for another time possibly for the March Meeting.

News 12/24/11

The Wirick Award was established in 1989. It is given to two recipients studying botany at WMU. This year marks the 30th anniversary of her death. We collected 310 USD this event, which will be added to the club budgetted fund of 100 USD, and sent to the scholarship fund. We would like to thank Karen Gentile, the District 3 director for attending as our guest.

I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and wish everyone much luck in their new year!
